Lin shared an office at Dupont with my mother for nearly 25 years. Lin and Sudie and their family were part of our family. Good times and bad, Lin was always there. When a little girl called looking for her mom in the days before cell phones, Lin walked many miles over the years to find her for me. Lin and Sudie, my Mom and Pop and our families shared a special friendship and made many happy memories over the years. It comforts me to think that Lin and Red are together reminiscing. Rest well, Lin, until we are all together again.

I treasure the memories of Lin (and Sudie) coaching my championship Little League team. He was more than a coach. He was like family, and I will never forget what a nice gentle man he was. My sincerest condolences to Sudie, Shorty, and the rest of Lin's family and close friends.
