Celebrating the life of Ellen G. Hawley
Thank you for signing Ellen G. Hawley's Guestbook
Sean and Chris, Ellen was like a grandparent to our boys, Josey and Davis. I miss her hugs and so wish we could have been closer after moving to Maryland. So sorry to hear she has passed. Her light shines on in our sweet memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Ellen back in the 80's when she was working in New Bern. I wasn't quite sure what to make of this very friendly, very huggy, nurse, but she turned out to be one of my best friends. She guided me through my early years in the ER in New Bern, and after I moved on, she was always up for breakfast, even after working a night shift. She was a wonderfully empathetic nurse, and helped many ER patients through some difficult times. I will always remember her laughter and her hugs.
