Mrs. Dorothy Turnage Trisch died Saturday evening, October 6, 2018, at her residence four days short of her 95th birthday. Born October 10, 1923, she was the daughter of William M. and Rebecca Smith Turnage. Mrs. Trisch was a native of Greene County, a graduate of the Snow Hill High School and member of Fort Run PFWB Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Neil Trisch; and brothers, Virgil Turnage and Alvin Turnage.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda Faye Wadsworth of Snow Hill; granddaughters, Debbie Barber of Greenville and Sandy Kaye Bowden of Waynesville; great-grandchildren, Dereck Ray Bowden of Tennessee, Tony Blake Bowden and Patrick Lee Bowden both of Waynesville.
Funeral Services will be held graveside 11 AM Wednesday, October 10th, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with Pastor Allen Strickland officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Trisch residence and also immediately following the service on Wednesday at the cemetery.
