Alan Glenn Stocks, 61, died Thursday, May 17, 2018. He was born April 19, 1957 in Pitt County, the son of Walter Hubert and Annie Louise Sellars Stocks. Glenn was a mechanic who loved racing and restoring old cars. He was particularly proud of the 1955 Chevrolet he had restored.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Pamela Faircloth Stocks of the home; daughter, Michelle Baker of Red Oak; sisters, Barbara Stocks Sheppard (Tony) of Snow Hill, Connie Stocks Murphy of Snow Hill, Janice Stocks Johnson (Wayne) of Snow Hill, Mary Stocks Hill (Durel) of Princeton, and Verna Stocks Smith of Winterville; brothers, James Stocks (Doris) of Snow Hill and Charles Stocks (Jan) of Eureka; grandchildren, Auten Joyner and Cole Clary.
Funeral services will be held graveside 2:30 PM Saturday, May 19, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 – 2 PM at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the home of James and Doris Stocks, 96 Beddard Farm Road, Snow Hill.
