Ted D. Sauls, Sr, 65, went home to his Heavenly Father Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018. A native and lifetime resident of Greene County, he was born May 24, 1952, the son of Ned D. and Nell Fields Sauls. Upon his retirement, Ted was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine in recognition of his service to North Carolina and its citizens. Following retirement, he dedicated his time to his family and service to the Lord. Ted was an active member of Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Ted is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha J. Sauls of the home; his son, Ted D. Sauls, Jr. and wife, Paula of Snow Hill; his son, Jason W.
