Mrs. Hill moved to Cypress Glenn Retirement Community in 2004, where she lived out her life happy and content. She claimed many of the staff as her adopted children. Cypress Glen became her extended home where she served on various committees and the Executive Resident Council.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Hill; brother, Charles B May; sister, Frances May Delamar.
Her two daughters, Rosalyn Hill Moody and husband, Danny of Atlantic Beach, and Harriett Hill Baker and husband, David of Farmville, NC, survive her along with her grandchildren; Dave Baker and wife, Charlotte of Winterville, Stacey Baker Pattie and husband, Marsh of Crozet, VA, Ben Thompson of Mount Olive, and Jeff Thompson and wife Adrianne, of Raleigh.
