Obituary

Charlie Lee Bunn, 81, died Friday, August 18, 2017. He was born November 10, 1935 the son of Charlie and Carrie Hinnant Bunn. He was a member of Harrell’s Chapel FWB Church and the Snow Hill Moose Lodge, he also served in the National Guard Army. Charlie enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Ronnie Mohn officiating.

His surviving family includes his loving wife of 60 years Betty Corbett Bunn; daughters, Sharon Bunn Hinnant and husband, Greg, Terry Bunn Harper and husband, Stanley, Allison Bunn Wade and husband, Ronnie; a son, Craig Bunn all of Snow Hill; sisters, Geneva B. White of Hugo, Geraldine B. Goodman, of Kinston, Anna Jean B. Jones and husband, Kenny of Snow Hill, Kathy B. Herring and husband, Freddie of LaGrange, Grace B. Jones of Snow Hill; brothers, Alton Bunn and wife, JoAnn, Harold Bunn and wife, Mary Catherine, James Wesley Bunn and wife, Connie all of Snow Hill, Lindsey Bunn and wife, Janice of Laurel Maryland; grandchildren, Melissa Barrow and husband, Joey of Snow Hill, Joseph Wade and wife, Amy of Kinston, Kelly Albritton and husband, Philip of Farmville, Stacy Futral and husband, Joshua of Richlands, Travis Harper of Snow Hill, Jeremy Pate and Halle Bunn both of Snow Hill; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Jacob, Nathan, and Harper Barrow, Trinity and Mackenzie Bland, Brice Albritton, Kinley Wade, Micah Futral and serval special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dixie B. Letchworth, Ellen Seymour and Nancy Whitley.

The family wishes to express thanks to 3HC hospice for their kindness and caring support. The family will receive friends following the service on Monday and other times at the residence 863 Corbett Town Road, Snow Hill NC.
